В частности, после ее установки, контроллеры и сами консоли переставали работать. В некоторых случаях устройства зависали, в других – выдавали черный экран. Проблемы стали возникать на приставках различной комплектации: с жестким диском на 20, 40, 60 и 80 ГБ, сообщает DailyTech. <br /><br />В связи с выходом из строя большого числа консолей, компания Sony выпустила официальное заявление, в котором сообщила, что временно удаляет новую прошивку со своего сервера. Когда будет выпущена рабочая версия, неизвестно. О том, что делать со сломанными консолями, тоже пока непонятно. Источник проблем пока не найден. <br /><br />Прошивка 2.40 обеспечивала доступ к меню XMB и музыкальным плей-листам прямо из игр, а также несла систему трофеев по аналогии с Xbox 360 Achievements. <br /><br />Единственное, что можно посоветовать в данном случае, не спешить с обновлением прошивки. <br />
