Компании Nvidia и AMD планируют в июне представить новые поколения своих видеокарт. Первая собирается анонсировать новый продукт приблизительно в начале следующего месяца, AMD – примерно в это же время. Вероятно, анонс новых видеокарт состоится на выставке Computex, которая пройдет в первую неделю июня на Тайване. <br /><br />Речь идет о видеокартах GeForce GTX 200 от Nvidia и новой серии Radeon HD 4800 от AMD. Для новых продуктов Nvidia характерна новая система маркировки. Ранее компания объявила о том, что намерена упростить обозначение своих продуктов для облегчения выбора покупателей, теряющихся в разнообразии моделей. Первоначально новая серия включит две модели: GTX 260 и GTX 280. <br /><br />Новая серия Radeon HD 4800 на первом этапе будет включать одну модель – 4850, по цене ориентировочно $230. До конца июня выйдет вторая модель серии – 4870, по цене $350. Двухпроцессорная видеокарта 4870 X2 с поддержкой памяти GDDR5 появится в III квартале года. <br />
