Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (JVC) объявила о создании нового микродисплея для проекторов с разрешением 8192x4320.

Новый микродисплей имеет 35 млн. точек, что в 17 раз больше, чем в Full-HD микродисплеях с разрешением 1920х1080. Новинка предназначена для проекторов, которые будут способны без компрессии проецировать сигнал нового формата телевизионного вещания Hi-Vision (разрешение 7680х4320, 22-х канальный звук).

Пока, не объявлена модель проектора, в котором будет установлен новый микродисплей, но и не стоит надеяться, что это произойдет быстро, так как увеличение в 17 раз количества точек дает улучшение разрешения по вертикали и горизонтали всего в 4 раза, а вот процессор обработки изображения, действительно, придется делать в 17 раз мощнее, чем в проекторах Full-HD (1920x1080).

Увеличение производительности процессора достаточно непростая задача. Примером этой проблемы является создание Full-HD проекторов, когда пришлось увеличить производительность процессора всего в два раза относительно моделей с разрешением 1280х720. Решить успешно эту задачу удалось не всем, и поэтому, нередко, эксперты в тестах недорогих Full-HD проекторов пишут о небольшом подергивании изображения, а цены на Full-HD проекторы отличаются в несколько раз (от $3000 до $10000).
