Мобильный процессор от Samsung с поддержкой 3D графики «Железо» для отображения 3D графики в мобильных устройствах сегодня является больным вопросом. Компания Samsung решила изменить ситуацию, представив графический процессор для мобильных устройств нового поколения. Процессор S3C6410, изготовленный по 65 нанометровому техпроцессу построен на ядре ARM с частотой 667MHz, что обеспечило поддержку 3D графики и кодеков MPEG4 и H.264.
Чип поддерживает одновременную запись и просмотр VGA-видео, что по заявлениям Samsung «позволит просматривать видео более высокого разрешения, экономно расходуя заряд батареи – как раз то, что нам нужно».
Пока не известно о выходе данного процессора, зато уже доподленно известно о поддержке ОС Linux, Windows Mobile и Symbian, а также различных типов DRAM и флэш памяти.
