Компания SanDisk, представившая за последние дни несколько новых продуктов, сообщила также о выпуске новой линейки карт флэш-памяти High-Definition Video Flash Card.

Основное назначение использования новинок, как следует из названия, — применение совместно с различными устройствами для работы с цифровым видеоконтентом. Первыми представителями семейства SanDisk Video HD стали карты памяти стандартов SDHC и Memory Stick PRO Duo.

Эти новые высокопроизводительные карты флэш-памяти были также представлены на выставке-шоу Consumer Electronics Show в Лас-Вегасе. Как отмечается, производительность новых SanDisk Video HD даже превосходит требования современных камкордеров, работающих с видео высокой четкости, что делает устройства подходящим решением для записи видео 1080 High Definition. Кроме быстрой записи, что важно, карточки быстро считываются, что добавляет комфорта при работе с ними, т.к. обычно копирование HD-видео может занимать много времени.

Новая сери карт памяти SanDisk Video HD будет доступна в марте на территории США и немногим позже в Европе. Будут представлены такие носители: 60 минут (4 ГБ), 120 минут (8 ГБ), как в варианте SDHC, так и Memory Stick PRO Duo.

Розничная цена составит 80 долл. за 4-ГБ версию SDHC или Memory Stick PRO Duo, 140 долл. за 8-ГБ версию SDHC и 150 долл.будет стоить 8-ГБ карта формата Memory Stick PRO Duo.
