Японская корпорация Matsushita, чьи продукты хорошо известны российским потребителям под торговой маркой Panasonic, планирует продемонстрировать самый большой плазменный телевизор на выставке CES 2008, которая состоится в Лас-Вегасе (США) в январе следующего года, сообщает газета The Daily Yomiuri. Размер экрана телевизора составляет 150 дюймов по диагонали. На данный момент самый крупный плазменный телевизор имеет размер экрана 103 дюйма (на фото) и также был изготовлен Panasonic.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1198531108_195471.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Matsushita выпустила телевизор-гигант' /></div><br /><br />Впервые устройство было продемонстрировано на выставке CES 2006, но тогда японский гигант не сумел затмить славу самого крупного LCD телевизора от Sharp с размером экрана в 108 дюймов. В последние годы производители плоскопанельных телевизоров стали соревноваться в выпуске таких устройств с самыми крупными экранами, и это фактически стало своего рода традицией. По данным The Daily Yomiuri, 150-дюймовый плазменный телевизор от Panasonic поступит в продажу в 2009 году, однако точных данных о его цене пока нет. Размеры экрана телевизора составляют 2 x 3,5 м, то есть высота экрана гораздо выше среднего роста взрослого человека. Это будет самый крупный телевизор в мире, добавляет The Daily Yomiuri.
