Компания LG представила новую концепцию ноутбука, дескноут S900. Данная модель совмещает в себе опции настольного ПК и ноутбука.<br /><br />S900 - это дескноут с 19" экраном, построенный на платформе Intel Santa Rosa, использует новые процессоры Intel Core 2 Duo. Матрица дисплея, как отмечается в пресс-релизе, превосходит по своим характеристикам стандартную ноутбучную матрицу 19" WXGA+ (1440x900), Monitor Quality LCD (300 нит, 850:1, 7.4 мс, 160/160).<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1198600760_s900_1251207.jpg" style="border: none;" alt=' LG S900: 19-дюймовый дескноут в линейке eXPRESs' /></div><br /><br />Вторая опция, взятая от десктопа это жесткий диск - в S900 используется стандартный 3,5" жесткий диск на 256 Гбайт или 320 Гбайт (SATA II, 7200 об/мин). Так как в производительности компьютеров "узким горлышком" остается скорость работы с жестким диском, то использование более скоростного диска от ПК дает пользователю не только больший объем для хранения данных, но и в свою очередь, увеличивает скорости записи или чтения по сравнению с обычным диском ноутбука.<br /><br /><br />В дескноуте предлагается два варианта внешних видеокарт. В более бюджетной модели используется видео карта Radeon X2400(128 Мбайт), в более продвинутой конфигурации GeForce® 8600M GT (256 Мбайт). Так же в старшей модели будет предложен TV-тюнер. Два встроенных стерео динамика с повышенной (по сравнению с ноутбуками) мощностью по 5 Вт на каждый являются достойными конкурентами обычным внешним десктопным колонкам.<br /><br />Наличие различных портов ввода и вывода, а также модулей Bluetooth и WiFi позволит без труда подключить разнообразные периферийные устройства, а также выходить в Интернет и подключаться к локальной сети. В S900 сохранена батарейка, но за ее ненадобностью она уменьшена до трех ячеек. Время автономной работы составляет всего три часа.<br /><br />Ноутбук обладает стильным дизайном и полным набором мультимедийных функций для комфортного просмотра DVD-фильмов, прослушивания музыки и игр. Ожидаемая цена ноутбука в розницу от 1300$ до 1750$, в зависимости от конфигурации.
