Японские корпорации Toshiba и Sharp сообщили о расширении сотрудничества в ЖК-бизнесе. Президенты обеих компаний заявили, что отныне Toshiba будет закупать у Sharp ЖК-панели с длиной диагонали от 32 дюймов и выше для своих телевизоров. В обмен на это Sharp будет приобретать у Toshiba большее количество интегральных схем для своих ЖК-телевизоров, передает Associated Press.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1198280723_sharp.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Toshiba и Sharp укрепляют позиции на рынке ЖК-телевизоров' /></div><br />В рамках договоренности, к 2010 г. Sharp должен покупать около 50% требуемого объема чипов LSI у своего партнера. Компания Toshiba обязуется покупать примерно 40% всех панелей, используемых в производстве своих телевизоров, у Sharp. При этом указанные доли могут быть увеличены.<br /><br />По мнению представителей компаний, данный шаг поможет сохранять уверенные позиции на конкурентном рынке ЖК-телевизоров. По словам презента Toshiba Атсутоши Нишида (Atsutoshi Nishida), он уверен, что сделка окажется выгодной для обеих сторон.
