Компания Samsung Electronics объявляет о начале поставок в Россию новой линейки широкоэкранных мониторов высокого разрешения. Линейка представлена 20-дюймовыми моделями 2043NW, 2043BW и 2043WM, а также 22-дюймовыми 2243BW и 2243WM. Первый монитор обладает лишь аналоговым входом, а третья и последняя модели оборудованы колонками.

С выходом на рынок новой Microsoft Windows Vista широкоэкранные мониторы приобретают все большую популярность, связанную с тем, что именно широкий экран обеспечивает максимально комфортную работу с интерфейсом этой операционной системы.

Все мониторы обладают разрешением 1680 x 1050 точек, коэффициентом контрастности 1000:1, а благодаря использованию технологии динамического контраста, он достигает значения 8000:1.

Передачу цифровых видеоданных высокой четкости без потерь качества обеспечивает интерфейс DVI с поддержкой HDCP, а удобные настраиваемые кнопки управления на передней панели позволяют быстро и без труда настроить все характеристики изображения — от цвета до пропорций. ЖК-мониторы обладают сертификатами TCO'03 и Windows Vista Premium. О ценах не сообщалось.

Помимо данных мониторов, компания Samsung обновляет и линейку 17- и 19-дюймовых мониторов.
