Аналитическая компания Screen Digest считает, что следующий год вполне может стать годом PLAYSTATION 3. Произойдёт это отнюдь не случайно: Sony постоянно работает над выпуском нового контента и развитием сетевых сервисов PlayStation Network, а глава SCEI - Казуо Хирай - недавно заявил японской газете Ёмиури, что в новом году "PS3 начнёт все сначала". По его словам, основные силы компании будут брошены на расширение линейки игр для PLAYSTATION 3. На 2008 год у компании вообще много планов, чего стоит хотя бы PlayStation Home.<br /><br />Другой аналитик той же Screen Digest, Ричард Купер (Richard Cooper), рассказал о грядущем развитии событий на рынке HD-носителей. Он уверен, что в следующем году ситуация может резко измениться, но оба "лагеря" (Blu-ray и HD-DVD) должны активизироваться и помочь запутанному и апатичному покупателю сделать правильный выбор (в пользу своего формата).<br /><br />Эксперт отметил, что цены на различные устройства с поддержкой HDTV постоянно падают и в 2008 году можно ожидать настоящего бума на рынке Высокой Чёткости.
