Президент Sony Computer Entertainment Каз Хираи официально представил долгожданный Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller для PlayStation 3, выступая на пресс-конференции в первый день Tokyo Game Show 2007. Кроме того, стало известно, что девять проектов для PS3, которые будут представлены посетителям выставки, уже полностью поддерживают долгожданную функцию вибрации. Среди них упоминаются Metal Gear Solid 4 and Devil May Cry 4.

«Мы решили не вносить никаких изменений во внешний вид контроллера Sixaxis, добавив лишь функцию вибрации», - отметил Хираи, уточнив, что долгожданный аксессуар поступит в продажу на территории Японии в ноябре этого года. К сожалению, американским и японским игрокам придется ждать до весны следующего года. С другой стороны, думаем, что никаких проблем с работой японских Dualshock 3 в связке с европейскими PlayStation 3 не возникнет.

Точные даты выхода и ценовая политика компании в отношении Dualshock 3 Wireless Controller будут представлены в ближайшее время. По утверждению главы Sony Computer Entertainment, появление вибрации в контроллере PS3 позволит нивелировать разницу между данной консолью и Xbox 360.
