«КОСМОС-ТВ» запускает телевидение высокой четкости (HDTV)

Компания «КОСМОС-ТВ» – первый и самый опытный московский оператор платного телевидения – объявляет об увеличении количества транслируемых каналов за счет появления нового пакета в формате телевидения высокой четкости (ТВЧ или HDTV).

В настоящее время в аппаратно-студийном комплексе «КОСМОС-ТВ» завершено тестирование оборудования, необходимого для приема, передачи, кодирования и декодирования телевизионного сигнала в формате HDTV. Для просмотра программ HDTV абонентам «КОСМОС-ТВ» потребуется декодер «HC5101 IR» производства компании Homecast. Технические возможности «КОСМОС-ТВ» позволяют запустить пакет из 3 ТВ-каналов в формате HDTV.

Первым абоненты «КОСМОС-ТВ» в тестовом режиме увидят канал VOOM HD.

VOOM HD Networks являются ведущим производителем телепрограмм, снятых в формате HD. Лучшие программы VOOM HD представлены на круглосуточном канале в разнообразных тематических рубриках, посвященных культуре, музыке, спорту, путешествиям, природе, моде и стилю, кулинарии, а также видеоиграм. Наиболее известными программами VOOM HD являются «Ныряльщики за сокровищами», «Крылья Антарктики», «Когда политики говорят», «Большой бутик в городе» и т.д. В настоящее время VOOM HD распространяется в США как часть сети Echostar’s DISH Network, а с ноября 2006 года канал доступен на всей территории Европы.
