В случае объединения двух чипсетов вместе, можно передать сигнал 1080p, используя пропускную способность 40Мгц. <br /> Чипсет может быть использован в HDTV телевизорах, проекторах, AV ресиверах, DVD плеерах следующего поколения, игровых консолях, ресиверах и компьютерах для передачи HD звука и видео.<br /> “С помощью WHDI производители теперь смогут предложить потребителям различные устройства на базе этой технологии,” говорит Noam Geri, вице президент по маркетингу и бизнес разработкам компании Amimon. <br /> “Потребители увидят первые устройства на базе WHDI  уже в конце этого года, а в 2008 году ожидается выход большого ассортимента подобных продуктов.”<br /> WHDI – это единственная технология для создания полноценной домашней беспроводной видео сети, которая позволяет обменивать и передавать HD контент по всему дому (до 30 метров и сквозь стены) также, как это делает проводная технология.
