Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment раскрыли свои планы по выпуску картин на Blu-Ray в 2008ом году. <br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1188153946_disney_logo.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Анонс Диснея: Классика в 2008ом году.' /></div><br />Весной 2008го выйдут «Хроники Нарнии: Лев, Ведьма и волшебный шкаф», на данном издании впервые будет использована технология картинка-в-картинке (pip), поддержка которой появится в будущих бытовых проигрывателях. Летом появится первая часть «Сокровищ Нации», которая также отметится нововведением – использованием способности Интернет-соединения.  Позднее, осенью, Дисней выпустит «В поисках Немо» и первый «платиновый» релиз – «Спящая красавица».<br /><br /> «Хроники Нарнии: Лев, Ведьма и волшебный шкаф», выпуск которых изначально планировался этой осенью, выйдет под профайлом 1.1 и будет включать «экстрасы» в формате pip. «В поисках Немо», так же появится издании, включающим эту возможность.<br /><br />«Сокровище нации» - станет первым фильмом  Disney, использующим BD-Live, позволяющим зрителям подсоединиться к Интернету через Blu-Ray-проигрыватель и скачать дополнительный контент , а так же играть в игры с другими зрителями. Издание «Спящей красавицы» так же будет включать возможности BD-Live, плюс дополнения, среди которых виртуальный замок и многопользовательские игры. <br /><br />'Спящая красавица' – первое издание из серии "Platinum". «Технологии Blu-Ray дают отличную возможность поднять наши фильмы на новые высоты, используя высокую емкость и интерактивные элементы погрузить зрителей в бурю эмоций» - высказался Боб Чапек (Bob Chapek) президент Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment.
