Sharp готовится к презентации новых HD продуктов на предстоящей на следующей недели выставке IFA в Берлине. Новинки включают в себя новую серию Full HD телевизоров с большими матрицами и Blu-Ray плеер. Майк Габриель (Mike Gabriel), Глава по маркетингу и связям сообщил: «К 2015 году, мы полагаем, что средние размеры экранов LCD телевизоров в Европе в домашних хозяйствах достигнут 60. Уже сегодня мы видим намечавшуюся тенденцию, и она будет продолжаться: люди хотят большие размеры за свои деньги. Именно поэтому, Sharp рассматривает такую стратегию производства, которая будет включать в себя LCD телевизоры от 42'' и больше.»

Будут представлены три серии LCD телевизоров Aquos. Флагман линейки – HD1 серия в 46’’ и 50’’ исполнении – имеет интегрированный жесткий диск на 160Gb, технологию 100Hz, USB подключение и Full-HD разрешение 1920х1080. Модель 50'' недавно была награждена ассоциацией EISA (Ассоциация европейских журналов по аудио- и видеотехнике).

Телевизоры XL2 серии имеют тонкий обтекаемый дизайн и представлены моделями 42’’, 50’’ и 56’’. Все аппараты имеют Full HD разрешение, технологию 100hz, обработку данных true HD и технологию подсветки RGB plus. Серия X20 представлена моделями 42’’, 46’’ и 50’’.

Sharp также собирается представить новый Blu-ray плеер BD-HP20S. Данная модель совместима с форматом 1080p и со всеми присутствующими сегодня на рынке DVD устройствами.
