Японский производитель звукового оборудования Onkyo анонсировал в США свой первый HD DVD-плеер, Onkyo DV-HD805.

По данным производителя, плеер полностью совместим с ресиверами Onkyo. Они вместе поддерживают интерфейс HDMI версии 1.3а с технологией Deep Color, а также форматы Dolby TrueHD и DTS-HD Master Audio, обеспечивающие побитовое воспроизведение звука, записанного на профессиональном оборудовании. Также поддерживаются форматы Dolby Digital Plus и DTS-HD High Resolution Audio.

Устройство позволяет воспроизводить фильмы с различной частотой смены кадров, включая режим 24 кадра в секунду, применяемый во время киносъемки. Помимо мультимедийного интерфейса высокой четкости, в плеере предусмотрен Ethernet-разъем. С его помощью можно загружать из интернета различного рода контент, а также обновления прошивки. Встроенный процессор HQV Reon VX отвечает за шумоподавление и преобразование разрешения до 720p, 1080i и 1080p.

На американском рынке плеер появится осенью по цене $900. Как скоро он выйдет в продажу в других странах, пока не известно.

Напомним, о своем намерении перейти к производству HD DVD-плееров компания объявила в июне этого года.
