Корпорация Toshiba анонсировала две модели цифрового видеоплеера VARDIA (DVR) с возможностью записи в формате HD DVD. В новых плеерах значительно улучшен пользовательский интерфейс, уменьшено время отклика при работе с меню и программировании записи. Кроме того, VARDIA RD-A600 и VARDIA RD-A300 позволяют производить одновременную запись двух телепрограмм в формате высокой четкости.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1184659408_54096.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Toshiba VARDIA: новые плееры DVR с поддержкой HD DVD' /></div><br /><br />В новых моделях используются жесткие диски. В RD-A600 установлен диск емкостью 600 Гб, который вмещает около 78 часов цифрового потока в высоком разрешении. Устройство RD-A300 оборудовано накопителем емкостью 300 Гб – это около 39 часов контента. В оба плеера встроен пишущий привод HD DVD. Детище Toshiba может проигрывать диски в формате HD DVD, DVD и CD. Кроме того, плеер конвертирует разрешение DVD в разрешение стандарта 1080p.<br /><br />В VARDIA воплощены новые возможности двойной записи – просмотр программы, в то время как ее запись продолжается, а также воспроизведение и редактирование (например, разбивка на главы) одной программы во время записи другой.<br /><br />Плееры VARDIA можно подсоединить к другим DVR от компании Toshiba, поддерживающим "i.LINK". Это позволит перенести весь имеющийся HD контент на один жесткий диск или записать его на диски HD DVD-R.<br /><br />Высокое качество звука обеспечивается технологиями Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD 5.1 и L-PCM 5.1.
