Компания Asustek Computer представила новинку Asus PG221 - компьютерный ЖК-монитор с длиной диагонали 22 дюйма и соотношением сторон 16:10, оборудованный двумя динамиками по 10 Вт, 15-ваттным сабвуфером и технологией эмуляции окружающего 6.1-канального звучания SRS TruSurround XT. Преимущественно монитор предназначен для игровой индустрии.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1183552296_asus_pg221.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Asustek представил ЖК-монитор с семиканальным звуком' /></div><br />К особенностям модели можно отнести наличие фирменной технологии Light-in-Motion для создания подсветки сзади монитора различным цветом, зависящим от типа запущенной игры (драки, стратегия и так далее).<br /><br />Максимальное разрешение матрицы составляет 1680x1050 пикселей, контрастность - 2000:1, яркость - 320 кд/кв. м, время отклика - 2 мс. В мониторе предусмотрены аналоговый VGA-порт, цифровой DVI, компонентный и композитный видеовходы, а также S-Video. Также присутствуют три порта USB, 3,5-мм разъем для подключения наушников и еще один для микрофона.<br /><br />Срок выхода и цена не сообщались.
