BD+ Technologies LLC объявила о готовности спецификации BD+, благодаря которой можно начать реализацию защиты контента на дисках Blu-ray. BD+ есть технология виртуальной машины в паре с RomMark, которая специально адресована формату Blu-ray. <br /><br />BD+ основана на том, чтобы не позволять воспроизводить HD-видеоконтент с дисков Blu-ray на "взломанных" проигрывателях и является дополнительной к AACS защитой Blu-ray Disc Association против видеопиратства. Новый стандарт будет обязательным к исполнению на плеерах BD-ROM, а также на устройствах чтения дисков в игровых консолях и на BD-ROM, устанавливаемых в ПК.<br /><br />Устройства BD-ROM включают виртуальную машину для обеспечения базовой обработки BD+ Content Code. Кроме того, VM может работать со специфическим кодом BD+ Content Code, который содержит заголовок диска. Проверка кода (security code) будет осуществляться в течение всего времени чтения носителя.
