На проходящей в эти дни конференции SID 2007 компании PureDepth и Samsung представили своё совместное детище - многослойный ЖК-дисплей диагональю 46 дюймов, который на сегодняшний день является самым большим экраном, построенным на технологии MLD.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1180031266_125185.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Выпущен самый большой многослойный дисплей' /></div><br />Напомним, что идея многослойных дисплеев была разработана восемь лет тому назад компанией PureDepth и предусматривает использование в одном мониторе двух или нескольких прозрачных ЖК-панелей, расположенных друг под другом и воспроизводящих каждый свою картинку. При этом зритель воспринимает эти изображения как одно целое, что даёт возможность отображать сразу нескольких массивов информации одновременно, а также позволяет создавать ощущение трёхмерности.<br /><br />Предыдущий рекорд диагонали для MLD-дисплеев составлял 30 дюймов и был установлен в прошлом году всё той же PureDepth. Нынешнее же участие в разработке 46-дюймового дисплея компании Samsung должно ускорить процесс коммерциализации продукта.
