Panasonic подхватывает эстафетную палочку из рук корпорации Pioneer, выпуская свой Blu-ray плеер второго поколения по сниженной цене. DMP-BD10A – отличается от предшественников наличием полной поддержи форматов 7.1, таких как Dolby True HD и DTS-HD. Кроме того функциональность плеера расширена удобной системой EZ-Sync, которая обеспечивает вашему Домашнему Кинотеатру «управление одним касанием».
Panasonic выпускает DMP-BD10A, Blu-ray плеер по цене $600.

Внешне новинка практически не отличается от предшественника DMP-BD10. Тем не менее, прибавка всего одной буквы в названии означает значительное расширение функциональности. Плеер поддерживает апскейлинг до разрешения 1080p с HDMI-выхода, он снабжен 14-битным ЦАПом с 4-кратным оверсэмплингом. Обладатели современных HD-видеокамер оценят аппаратную поддержку кодека AVCHD (H.264). Кроме того, для плеера заявлена поддержка формата BD-J, расширяющего интерактивные возможности просмотра (например, становится доступна функция PiP – «картинка в картинке»). Стоимость DMP-BD10A составит $599.95 и покупателей плеера поджидает сюрприз – в комплекте с плеером поставляются пять Blu-ray фильмов: «Пираты Карибского моря 1,2», «Перевозчик», «Фантастическая четверка» и «Столкновение».
