Новый стандарт и логотип от Pioneer
Компания Pioneer представила новый стандарт "HD digital film direct 24". Такой логотип будет присутствовать на продуктах полностью поддерживающих воспроизведение видео-контента с частотой кадров 24fps.
Как известно, в регионах использующих стандарт PAL существует проблема совместимости со стандартом 25fps, что при воспроизведении приводит к небольшому увеличению скорости изображения и сдвигу звуковой дорожки.

Новые оптические накопители стандартов высокой четкости поддерживают «настоящие» 24fps, но для воспроизведения без указанных выше погрешностей необходима соответствующая техника. Для того, что бы у покупателя не возникало сомнений при покупке, маркетологи Pioneer разместили новый логотип на все новые плоскопанельные телевизоры, которые отображают 24fps при развертке 72 Hz, на новый Blu-ray плеер BDP-LX70 и на последние модели ресиверов.
Хотя с этой инициативой и выступает компания Pioneer, в самом логотипе название компании не фигурирует. В этой связи, не совсем понятно будет ли этот стандарт лицензироваться и использоваться другими производителями.
Впрочем, большинство последних моделей известных фирм и так поддерживают корректное воспроизведение видео-контента с частотой кадров 24fps. И ничто не помешает им использовать свои логотипы, что бы подчеркнуть эту возможность.
