Стремясь удовлетворить потребности владельцев “многомегапиксельных” фотоаппаратов и HD-видеокамер, компания Sony анонсировала выпуск еще более быстрых карт памяти нового формата Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo. Предусмотренная в новом формате максимальная скорость передачи данных увеличивается в два-три раза по сравнению с традиционным Memory Stick Duo.<br /><br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/uploads/posts/1177654602_46995.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Sony анонсирует флэш-карты Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo' /></div><br />Новинки доступны в трех вариантах: 1, 2 и 4 Гб. Увеличение скорости передачи данных достигается за счет расширения разрядности параллельного интерфейса с 4 до 8 бит. Сразу хочется отметить некоторые нестыковки с данными пресс-релиза и ранее анонсированными спецификациями формата Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo. Гарантированная минимальная скорость записи, согласно пресс-релизу, составляет 15 Мбит/с при использовании старого оборудования с 4-разрядным интерфейсом. Спецификации же утверждают, что для 8-разрядного интерфейса минимальная скорость записи составляет 120 Мбит/с (т.е. 15 Мб/с), а для 4-разрядного - 40 Мбит/с или 5 Мб/с. Судя по всему, ошибка именно в пресс-релизе Sony, поскольку 15 Мбит/с для нового формата это слишком мало. Также в пресс-релизе сообщается о максимальной скорости передачи данных 30 Мб/с (240 Мбит/с).<br /><br />Для ПК с интерфейсом ExpressCard Sony предлагает адаптер MSAC-EX1. При его использовании файл с HD-видео емкостью 3,6 Гб передается с видеокамеры (Sony HDR-CX7 Memory Stick Handycam) на компьютер всего за две минуты.<br /><br />Новинки поддерживают фирменную технологию защиты цифрового контента MagicGate. 1-Гб карта MS-EX1G предлагается покупателям за $60, 2-Гб MS-EX2G - $90 и 4-Гб MS-EX4G - $150. Адаптер MSAC-EX1 Memory Stick Duo ExpressCard обойдется в $80.
