Это ПО содержит следующие нововведения:<br /><br /><li>     Теперь вы можете загружать ПО для PlayStation из PlayStation Store, и запускать его на PS3.</li><br /><li>     Можете использовать сохраненные данные для ПО PlayStation на PSP.</li><br /><li>     Возможность использования функции вибрации аксессуаров для ПО PlayStation и PlayStation 2.</li><br /><br />Последний пункт выглядит достаточно неубедительно, учитывая, что только USB-совместимые вибро-аксессуары могут использовать эту возможность, а обладатели оригинальных Dual Shock и Dual Shock 2 контроллеров до сих пор не могут подключить их к PS3. Однако, первый пункт предполагает, что Sony скоро увеличит количество оригинальных продуктов на PlayStation для загрузки из PlayStation Store. Согласно японскому сайту Sony, первая партия оригинальных релизов, которые могут воспроизводиться и на PSP и на PS3, будет выпущена 26-го Апреля. Игры, которые на текущий момент доступны на PlayStation Store, могут быть воспроизведены только на PSP.<br /><br />В связи с обновлением PS3 , PSP так же получила обновленную прошивку до версии 3.40, которая содержит следующие нововведения:<br /><li><br />     Поддержка для сетевых игр PlayStation была увеличена (в соответствии с PS3).</li><br /><li>     Метод управления сертификатами (для игр) был изменен. (Другими словами, Sony инициировала новую систему безопасности для загружаемых продуктов PS.)</li><br /><br />Сайт Sony в США до сих пор не обновил новостную ленту с обновлениями прошивок, но как только они представят больше информации о своих будущих планах на PlayStation Store, мы обязательно оповестим вас.
