Вы должны будете создать виртуального персонажа, который будет отражать ваше внутреннее «я», использовав огромное количество настроек - изменению подвергаются телосложение, цвет кожи, лицо, одежда - вобщем, любители The Sims должны будут показать себя с самой лучшей стороны. Данная игра, по словам разработчиков, идеально вписывается в концепцию Game 3.0, о которой президент SCE Worldwide Studios рассказывал в самом начале презентации. Разработкой занимается студия Media Molecule, а сама LittleBigPlanet представляет собой конструктор. Геймеры могут создавать разнообразные уровни, используя достаточно широкий арсенал подручных материалов, чтобы потом проходить их одному или в компании друзей. Всего в LittleBigPlanet могут принять участие до четырех игроков.<br /><br />Созданные уровни можно будет закачивать в PlayStation Store, чтобы другие пользователи прошли их и выставили свою оценку. Нельзя не отметить забавный дизайн проекта: окружающий мир, персонажи и их действия — все это выглядит достаточно мило и вызывает улыбку. Стоит также упомянуть, что в игре будет поддержка дополнительных возможностей контроллера Sixaxis. По словам Харрисона, демо-версия LittleBigPlanet будет доступна для скачивания через PlayStation Store позднее в этом году, а полноценный релиз состоится, скорее всего, в начале 2008 года.
