Toshiba представила новые LCD TV серии REGZA 2007 года. Серия REGZA C может похвастать наличием фирменных Тошибовских технологий по улучшению картинки (Active Vision LCD) и звука (SRS WOW). Диагонали анонсированных телевизоров серии С – 26, 32, 37 и 42 дюйма.

Благодаря фирменной технологии обработки изображения Active Vision LCD, телевизоры REGZA воспроизводят в 3 раза больше пикселей и в 4 раза больше цветовых оттенков, по сравнению с обычными LCD TV, что позволяет надеяться на более реалистичную картинку. Кроме того, высокое качество изображения достигается благодаря динамическому изменению контрастности от 3,500:1 до 5,000:1 и уровню яркость вплоть до 500 кд/м2.

Технология SRS WOW реализована компактной встроенной акустической системой, динамики которой располагаются под экраном.
Так же за аудио-тракт ответственна система объемного звучания и цифровая система шумоподавления.

Во всех моделях используется встроенный цифровой тюнер Freeview, за коммутацию с остальными кинотеатральными компонентами отвечают два разъема HDMI и два SCART, а так же компонентный видео-вход.

Что ж, заявленные характеристики выглядят просто замечательно (как это обычно и бывает в анонсах), хотя наличие разрешения 1366 x 768 (720p) для всех моделей серии не внушает оптимизма, насколько хорошо будет выглядеть видео стандарта 1080i/p – большой вопрос.
Уже в ближайшее время в магазинах будут доступны все модели, за исключением 26-дюймовой (она будет представлена в июле), цены на новинки пока не сообщаются.
