Sony стала крупнейшим мировым поставщиком жидкокристаллических телевизоров Sony стала крупнейшим мировым поставщиком жидкокристаллических телевизоров, опередив главного конкурента – южнокорейский концерн Samsung.

Компания DisplaySearch опубликовала исследование по мировому рынку телевизоров. Объем продаж телевизоров Sony в денежном выражении достиг 17,4% от мирового рынка LCD-телевизоров, тогда как у Samsung - 15%. На третьем месте находится Sharp с долей 11,2% рынка.

По объему продаж в количественном выражении на первом месте Samsung, доля рынка которого составила 14%. По числу проданных телевизоров вторым стал Philips, а Sony остается третьей.

По прогнозам специалистов, в этом году будет продолжаться снижение цен на жидкокристаллические телевизоры во всем мире. Так уже во втором полугодии средняя стоимость ЖК-панели с диагональю дисплея в 32 дюйма понизится до 300 долларов.

На рынке плазменных телевизоров лидирует японская Matsushita Electric (Panasonic). По данным DisplaySearch, к концу прошлого года доля компании составила 33% рынка в денежном выражении. Вторую позицию в этом сегменте с 16,6% рынка заняла LG Electronics, а на третьем месте- Samsung -13,9%.

В исследовании отмечается и увеличение на рынке плазменных панелей числа моделей с поддержкой HDTV. В третьем квартале 2006 года их доля составляла 79%, а по итогам четвертого уже 87%. Объем поставок в количественном выражении вырос на 16%.

DisplaySearch прогнозирует, что в 2008 году рынок плазменных панелей достигнет своего максимального объема в 24 млрд. долларов, тогда как объем рынка LCD-телевизоров достигнет 75 млрд. долларов.
