Два набора комплектуются портативными внешними тюнерами с интерфейсом USB, один – платой, рассчитанной на установку в гнездо расширения PCI. Устройства обеспечивают прием цифрового (HD ATSC/NTSC или DVB-T/PAL/SECAM) и аналогового (PAL/SECAM) телевизионного вещания. В комплект всех трех новинок входят пульты ДУ.<br /><br />Изделия позволяют не только просматривать передачи в реальном времени, но и выполнять операции «сдвига во времени» и записи, в том числе, по расписанию с использованием функции Windows Media Center TV Guide. Предусмотрено подключение инфракрасного излучателя, обеспечивающего наборам возможность управления абонентскими приставками и спутниковыми ресиверами.<br /><br />Как недвусмысленно указано в названии наборов, PCTV Tuner Kits for Windows Vista, они полностью совместимы с новой ОС. Заявлена также поддержка Windows XP Media Center Edition.<br /><br />На североамериканском рынке наборы должны появиться в марте, по цене около 130 долларов. О сроках появления и цене в других регионах данных пока нет.
