Она первой представляет львиную долю продуктов, связанных с этим форматом.<br /><br />Не так давно ею был анонсирован первый записывающий привод HD DVD для настольных ПК, а теперь компания продемонстрировала подобное решение и для ноутбуков. Её серия Qosmio уже довольно давно имеет в качестве опции читающие приводы HD DVD, а на выставке Consumer Electronics Show (CES), прошедшей на этой неделе в Лас-Вегасе, Toshiba показала прототип мобильного рекордера этого формата, который был установлен как раз в ноутбук Qosmio G35.<br /><br />О сроках коммерческой доступности или ценах пока ничего не известно, сообщается лишь, что такой привод сможет записывать носители объемом до 30 Гб (причем речь шла не о двухслойных, а о двухсторонних HD DVD). В течение квартала производитель обещал дать новую информацию о своём решении.<br /><br />Напомним, что настольная версия, Toshiba SD-H903A, имеет следующие скоростные характеристики записи дисков:<br /><br />HD DVD - 2,4x <br />DVD - 8х <br />DVD DL - 2,4х <br />DVD RAM - 3x
