Крис Сэтчел, глава игрового отдела Microsoft, официально опроверг слухи о том, что в скором времени нас ожидает выпуск обновленной версии консоли Xbox 360, которая будет оснащена выходом HDMI и жестким диском повышенной емкости.

«В настоящий момент все, что вы видели на этих фотографиях - всего лишь промежуточные результаты наших работ. Это не конечный продукт, который, как считают практически все, должен быть анонсирован в самое ближайшее время».

Не более многословным оказался Сэтчел, когда речь зашла о новым жестком диске повышенной емкости (60, 100 или 120 Гб - именно такие версии уже всплывали в Интернете).

«По мере внедрения новых сервисов мы наблюдаем за ситуацией, и если такая необходимость действительно возникнет, то мы примем соответствующие меры, однако пока вам не стоит ждать никаких анонсов по поводу появления нового винчестера для Xbox 360».
