Новинка обеспечивает съёмку с разрешением 1920x1080i, встроенный жёсткий диск ёмкостью 60 Гб позволяет записать до 5 ч видео в этом формате при максимальном битрейте 30 Мбит/с.<br /><br />Камера включает три CCD-сенсора, систему стабилизации изображения, «полный джентльменский набор» интерфейсов, включая USB, HDMI и i.LINK, 10-кратный оптический зум. Для тех, кому не нужен HD-режим, предусмотрена съёмка в формате 1440x1080i, при этом максимальная длительность видеоролика составляет 7 ч (5 ч в режиме постоянного битрейта).<br /><br />Помимо автоматических режимов съёмки, предусмотрена возможность ручной установки фокуса, баланса белого, выдержки, резкости (sharpness), режимы приоритета выдержки или апертуры. Функция Focus Assist показывает элементы изображения, находящиеся в фокусе, в цвете, в то время как нерезкие детали – в чёрно-белом. А функция Zebra штрихует на ЖК-дисплее хорошо освещённые объекты, упрощая ручную установку выдержки.<br /><br />JVC HD Everio GZ-HD7 появится в продаже в апреле по цене 1800 долларов.
