В презентации разработчики говорили об огромном шаге вперед - представляли технологию, как  несомненный плюс перед обычными DVD.<br />Однако ждать придется еще очень долго. В Blu-Ray "BD Live" обещали добавить возможность "закачки нового контента в фильм через широкополосный соединение". Но по последним данным возможная датая появления устройств поддерживающих нечто подобное - вторая половина 2007го года.<br /><br />В это же время производители HD DVD-плееров уже рекламируют возможность "управлять видеоматериалом". Однако на рынке пока нет релизов фильмов, подтверждающих это (лишь "Тройной форсаж" может похвастаться возможностью выбора цвета машины в одной из сцен фильма).<br /><br />Аналитики считают, что конечному потребителю не так уж и важна возможность что-либо докачивать - их по-прежнему заботить качество картинки и звука. А это в очередной раз доказывает, что массовое появление технологии на рынке произойдет не очень скоро.
