Sony Computer Entertainment America 6 декабря представили первое обновление для PS3: добавилась поддержка пульта для управления консолью, как Blu-Ray проигрывателем, а так появилось большее количество настроек видео.<br />Из официального заявления:<br /> - появилась возможность выбирать любое разрешение, поддерживаемое вашим компьютером. Автоматически будет выбрано максимально возможное разрешение, в следующем порядке: 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 480p, стандартное (NTSC) <br /><br /> - Backup utility (утилита восстановления) добавлена в меню System Settings (системные настройки) позволяет вам перенести всю информацию с жесткого диска PS3 на другое запоминающее устройство (флеш-карту, например) или восстановить информацию с подобного устройства на жесткий диск приставки.<br /><br /> - USB-периферия, выпущенная для PlayStation2 (рули и различные авиа-джойстки) теперь могут быть использованы во время запуска игр (PS2) на nextgen консоли.<br /><br />Так же было объявлено, что пульт управления (PS3 Blu-ray Remote) поступит в продаже в этом месяце по цене $24.99<br /><br /><br />Владельцы консоли от Microsoft так же дождались обновления. Многие его ожидали, тк было обещано исправление ошибки с выводом 1080p на некоторых моделях тв.<br />Однако, обновившись, некоторые пользователи поняли, что обрели значительно больше ошибок, чем было исправлено.<br />Приставка неожиданно зависает и отказывается запускаться, но большинство жалоб поступило от пользователей, пытающихся использовать VGA-подключение и разрешение меньшее, чем 1080р.<br />Официальные лица заявили о том, что информированы об ошибках, и работа по исправлению ведется, однако каких-либо конкретных сроков сейчас назвать невозможно.<br />
