Аналитическая компания Сymfony, работающая в необычной области под названием "изучение влияния технологий на рынок", опубликовала сегодня интересный отчет, из которого следует, что онлайновая аудитория не в восторге от формата Blu-Ray. По заявлению специалистов компании, они изучили более 18.000 блоговых записей и форумных обсуждений и сделали вывод, что HD-DVD, конкурирующий с "синим лучом", гораздо ближе сердцам простых пользователей.<br /><br />Это немного неожиданный вывод, особенно с учетом более ранних исследований аналогичного толка, в которых преимущество отдавалось Blu-Ray. Однако Cymfony утверждает, что в "онлайне" существует предубеждение перед этим форматом, а большинство записей и постов (70%) относятся к обсуждению преимуществ HD-DVD перед Blu-Ray. Многие сомневаются, что большие объемы данных, которые позволяет записывать "синий луч", вообще нужны для игр. Еще одна причина, по которой интернетчики не любят творение Sony - это сама Sony, которая известна многочисленными провалами форматов - достаточно вспомнить Betamax, MiniDisc и дышащий на ладан UMD Video.<br /><br />Однако самое непонятное в исследовании Cympfony - это то, что аудитория якобы негативно отнеслась к включению привода Blu-Ray в PS3 и с гораздо большим энтузиазмом восприняла сообщение о создании отдельного проигрывателя HD-DVD дисков для Xbox 360.<br /><br />Впрочем, следует помнить о некоторых особенностях интернет-аудитории. Вряд ли ее можно считать репрезентативной и делать на основе данных Cymfony какие-то далеко идущие выводы. Скорее следует воспринимать их как небольшое пограничное происшествие накануне большой войны форматов.
