Отныне Нидерланды можно считать полноправным победителем в чемпионате мира по подключению к цифровому ТВ.<br /><br />Через несколько дней в стране произойдёт перевод всех телеканалов с аналогового на цифровой стандарт вещания. Это означает, что 100% населения будет принимать все каналы исключительно «в цифре». Интересно, что Нидерланды, таким образом, стали первым и пока единственным государством во всём мире, полностью отказавшимся от аналогового ТВ.<br /><br />Кстати, сеть аналоговых телекоммуникаций, подвергшиеся модернизации, покрывает Нидерланды с 1951 года. Согласно данным статистики, около 74 тысяч домочадцев всё ещё смотрят аналоговое ТВ, так сказать, по инерции. Однако у них уже есть возможность приобрести за относительно небольшую сумму (порядка 40-80 евро) комплект подключения к цифровому телевещанию.<br /><br />Надо отметить, что такая страна как США, которая давно является одной из лидирующих стран по распространению информационных технологий, намерена полностью перейти на цифровой стандарт телевещания лишь к 2009 году.
