<b>Buffalo HDV-ROM2.4FB</b> – первый пишущий HD DVD привод для ПК. <br />Как бы странно это не звучало, но данный привод действительно первый из официально выпущенных. Напомним, что единственный и основной конкурент - HD DVD Xbox360 - без проблем работает под операционной системой Windows Vista (а так же под Windows XP - после некоторых ухищерений с драйверами), однако сама Microsoft пока не подтверждает эту информацию.<br />Привод Buffalo ( в девичестве Toshiba SD-H802A), выпущенный в формате 5,25 дюйма, с интерфейсом ATAPI,  читает однослойные (15 Гбайт) и двухслойные (30 Гбайт) носители HD DVD-ROM, а также  диски красного лазера: DVD±R/RW и DVD±R/R DL, DVD-ROM, ну и CD-R/RW/ROM. Для просмотра видео на компьютере, в комплекте поставляется Cyberlink PowerDVD HD DVD Edition.<br />Рекомендуемые системные требования заявлены следующие:<br /> - не менее гигабайта оперативной памяти<br /> - процессор Pentium D от 3,2 ГГц, лучше – CoreDuo T2500 2,0 ГГц.<br /> Скорость чтения оптических носителей DVD составляет 5х, CD – до 15х. <br />Примерная стоимость -  около $338. Приобрести модель в Японии можно будет уже в этом месяце, о поставках же в другие страны пока ничего не сообщается.<br /><br />Из стана соперников по голубому лазеру поступила следующая информация:<br /><br /><br /><b>Разработка Lite-On, LH-2B1S</b> - первый компьютерный Blu-ray привод с  интерфейсом Serial ATA - недавно попал на прилавки Акихабара (Япония).<br />Привод умеет читать,записывать и перезаписывать 25ГБ диски (в будущих прошивках возможна поддержка записи двухслойных 50ГБ дисках) на скорости 2х. Диски DVD±R можно записать на скорости 12x. Двухслойные DVD±R DL на скорости 4x. Перезапись DVD+RW - 8x, DVD-RW – 4x. Обычные CD-диски пишутся новым приводом на скорости 32x, а  CD-RW перезаписываются на скорости 24x.<br />По информации японских источников, цена $610.
