Аналитики брокерской компании Sanford C. Bernstein в своем недавнем отчете сообщили, что 2009 год может стать годом начала широкого распространения телевизоров с диагональю экрана свыше 70 дюймов. Уже в приближающийся сезон распродаж цены на 42-дюймовые модели упадут ниже отметки в 1000 долларов США.<br /><br />Эксперты также взяли на себя ответственность рассчитать наиболее подходящий для комфортного просмотра размер диагонали экрана. По словам аналитика компании Джефа Эвенсона, 65- или 75-дюймового экрана достаточно размещения телевизора на расстоянии трех метров от зрителя. Эвенсон также подчеркнул, что телевизоры с жидкокристаллическим экраном, наконец, свободны от всех трех основных ограничений, преследовавших модели с электронно-лучевой трубкой, - большого веса, размера и высокой стоимости. Отсутствие перечисленных ограничений способно сделать ЖК-телевизоры с большой диагональю довольно привлекательными для использования в домашних условиях.<br /><br />К тому же, эксперты прогнозируют дальнейшее устойчивое снижение стоимости подобных моделей. Если ожидания аналитиков оправдаются, то к 2010 году приобрести телевизор с диагональю от 70 до 80 дюймов можно будет за 3000 долларов США. Увеличить объемы производства 70-дюймовых моделей в самое ближайшее время планирует южнокорейский гигант Samsung Electronics, а компания AU Optronics намерена в следующем году сделать ставку на 65-дюймовые модели, сообщает PC Magazine.<br /><br />Отметим, что ранее Samsung уже демонстрировала ЖК-панели с диагональю свыше 70 дюймов. Например, в сентябре прошлого года компания показала 82-дюймовый телевизор, поддерживающий разрешение 1920 x 1080 точек. Правда, эта панель ориентирована, в первую очередь, на корпоративный сектор.
