Компании Tzero Technologies и Analog Devices объявили о создании беспроводного HDMI-интерфейса для телевизоров высокой четкости (HDTV) и DVD-плееров следующего поколения. Об этом сообщает сайт ExtremeTech.<br /><br />Продукт сотрудничества двух компаний состоит из трансмиттера и ресивера. Трансмиттер представляет собой черную коробку размером с ноутбук. Он использует набор микросхем Tzero TZ7000 и блок компрессии JPEG2000 от Analog Devices. Последний сжимает на лету видеоданные в JPEG2000, разбивает на пакеты и кодирует, а затем передает на чипы Tzero MAC и PHY. Ресивер производит распаковку данных и отправляет их на стандартный порт HDMI.<br /><br />Устройство позволит домовладельцам сконцентрировать все источники видеосигнала в одной комнате, обеспечив беспроводную связь между ними и телевизором, а также, например, установить телевизор в любой точке помещения.<br /><br />Утверждается, что новое устройство является первым беспроводным HDMI-решением, полностью удовлетворяющим открытым стандартам. Соответствие стандартам должно гарантировать 95-процентную надежность сигнала с потерей всего одного пакета данных на сто миллионов, устойчивость к помехам от радиоизлучающих устройств - ноутбуков, микроволновых печей, радиотелефонов, а также возможность одновременной передачи трех и более видеопотоков высокой четкости на расстояние в 10 метров.<br /><br />Беспроводная HDMI-система от Tzero будет представлена производителям электроники, прессе и аналитикам в течение ближайших месяцев. Утверждается, что ее можно будет приобрести в ноябре 2006 года. Цена устройства пока неизвестна, но создатели хотят установить ее ниже цены кабеля HDMI. Сейчас такой кабель без установки стоит около ста долларов.
