Плоскопанельные плазменные и ЖК-телевизоры постепенно вытесняют продукты с классической катодной лучевой трубкой. Особенно это заметно в сегменте дорогих аппаратов и больших диагоналей. Шансы у кинескопных телевизоров остались только в бюджетном сегменте рынка. И шансов этих становится все меньше и меньше по мере усовершенствования и удешевления панелей.
Корейский электронный гигант компания Samsung Electronics, преуспевшая во всех сферах бытовой электроники, представила две новые модели ЖК-телевизоров c великолепным дизайном: LE-32N71B и LE-46N71B.

Новинки готовы для обработки HDTV-сигнала и оснащены панелями последнего поколения с улучшенной цветопередачей, увеличенной яркостью, контрастностью, углом обзора и с уменьшенным временем отклика. ЖК-панели новых телевизоров Samsung используют традиционную подсветку флуоресцентными лампами с холодным катодом (CCFL), а не перспективную светодиодную, которая пока не пользуется популярностью из-за более высокой стоимости.
Как видно из названий моделей, диагональ LE-32N71B – 32 дюйма, LE-46N71B - 46 дюймов. Соотношение сторон - 16:9, разрешение - 1366×768 пикселей. Матрицы типа SPVA с углом обзора 178 градусов по вертикали и горизонтали, временем отклика меньше 8 мс. Фирменная система оптимизации изображения DNIe, динамического контраста и технология улучшения цветопередачи eXtended Wide Color Gamut призваны поднять качество изображения ЖК-телевизоров на новый уровень. Звуковая часть с двухканальным усилителем с выходной мощностью 2х10 Вт и техникой объемного звучания SRS TruSurround XT.

Как и любой современный телевизор, новые модели Samsung имеют функцию приема телетекста. В памяти может храниться до 1000 страниц. Новые ЖК-телевизоры оснащены компонентными и композитными видеовходами, разъемами Scart, двумя цифровыми интерфейсами HDMI, разъемом D-Sub для подключения ПК. Также имеется встроенный мультиформатный кардридер Multi Memory Slot. В комплекте с LE-46N71B идет поворотная подставка.
