Какой будет ее новая консоль PlayStation 3? Что она сможет предложить игрокам? Сотрудники сайта Next-Generation делятся своими наблюдениями. Как известно, в конце февраля во Флориде пройдет конференция Destination PlayStation, на которую будут приглашены только представители избранных издательств и девелоперских компаний. Здесь Sony, судя по всему, и поделится своими планами по поводу своей будущей стратегии по завоеванию рынка. Вполне возможно, что мы узнаем о точной дате запуска и цене PS3 в феврале-марте. <br /><br />В любом случае, слухи о том, что PS3 не появится в Японии в ближайшее время, мало похожи на правду. Что касается других территорий, то о них пока судить рано. Также стоит помнить о том, что в PS3 будет использоваться Blu-Ray, а это немаловажно. Если этот формат победит, то победит и Sony. Как вы, наверняка, догадываетесь, с каждого проданного Blu-Ray-диска Sony будет получать свой процент. Не удивительно, что Билл Гейтс ненавидит Xbox 360. Рынок дисков нового поколения намного более важен и прибылен, нежели рынок игровых консолей. Поэтому, основная цель Sony – не столько победа PS3, сколько победа Blu-Ray. Кроме качества самого носителя, важно и то, какой из них (HD-DVD или Blu-Ray) выйдет первым.<br /><div align="center"><img src="http://www.hdtv.ru/hdtvimg/811_48105.jpg" style="border: none;" alt='Sony на пути к полю битвы' /></div><br />Известно, что HD-DVD выйдет весной. Появится ли Blu-Ray тогда же, пока является тайной. Для Sony лучше, чтобы появился. А в итоге все решит Голливуд. Победа в войне форматов и консолей зависит от того, что скажут основные студии. Основной поток кино-продукции ожидается к лету… Выводы делайте сами. Голливуду не нужен двойной формат, Голливуду нужны цифры. Аналитики говорят: "Люди немного недопонимают того, что сейчас творится. Вы думаете это война Microsoft и Sony? Нет. Это война Sony и Toshiba. И все, что Sony делает, она делает в этом контексте". <br /><br />Также следует помнить о том, что игровая консоль без игр существовать не может. Каз Хирай неоднократно сообщал, что не выпустит консоль, пока на нее не будет выпущено достаточно достойных проектов. 10? 20? 5 или 6? Трудно сказать. В любом случае, если PS3 выйдет до осени, то игр на нее будет выпущено очень мало. А у Xbox 360 к тому времени игр будет значительно больше… Также следует помнить о цене… Если PS3 будет стоить чуть дороже Xbox 360, все будет хорошо. Но если цена составит 500 и более долларов, то вполне возможно, что люди откажутся покупать PS3.
