Южнокорейская компания LG Electronics сообщила о начале производства плазменных панелей с диагональю 50 дюймов c использованием новой технологии, позволяющей получать три панели из одной заготовки.<br />Методика, как отмечается в пресс-релизе, будет применяться на поточных линиях A1 и A2 завода LG в городе Гуми. Предполагается, что переход на новую технологию позволит поднять объёмы производства пятидесятидюймовых плазменных панелей с 50000 до 150000 штук в месяц, а также снизить издержки и длительность производственного цикла. Кстати, в третьем квартале нынешнего года новая технология будет использоваться и при изготовлении панелей с диагональю 42 дюйма. Причём из одной матрицы в этом случае можно будет получать до восьми панелей. <br />В текущем месяце компания LG Electronics официально представила на российском рынке эксклюзивную систему домашнего кинотеатра, в комплект которой входит 71-дюймовый плазменный телевизор MW-71PY10G. По заявлениям производителя, модель MW-71PY10G на сегодняшний день является самой большой серийно выпускающейся плазменной панелью в мире. Её разрешение составляет 1920 x 1080 пикселей, контрастность - 1200:1, яркость - 800 кд/м2. Панель снабжена двумя динамиками суммарной мощностью 20 Вт, а также интерфейсами HDMI и DVI. В комплект поставки системы домашнего кинотеатра также входят приставка для приёма кабельного телевидения, DVD-плеер и акустика. Все компоненты выполнены в корпусах с напылением из 24-каратного золота. Стоимость комплекта составляет порядка 75 тысяч долларов США.<br />В прошлом году доля плазменных панелей составила порядка 18,7 процента от общего объёма рынка плоских дисплеев. Согласно прогнозам аналитиков Display Search, в нынешнем году данный показатель достигнет отметки в 34,1 процента, а к концу десятилетия вырастет до 59,1 процента. Вместе с тем ожидается, что мировой рынок телевизоров с диагональю 50 дюймов и более, объём которого в 2005 году составил 3,76 миллиона штук, в среднем будет расти на 16 процентов ежегодно и к 2010 году составит 10 миллионов штук.
