Сюжет: Лето 1994 - на улицах Нью-Йорка гремит хип-хоп и чувствуется запах марихуаны... Новоизбранный мэр Рудольф Джулиани только начинает принимать меры против таких преступлений как громкая музыка, граффити на стенах и пьянство. Люк Шапиро, студент и наркодилер, сдружился с доктором Джефри Сквиресом, психиатором и просто родственной душой. Когда доктор попросил Люка продать ему наркотик для сеансов терапии, оба начинают исследовать глубины Нью-Йорка и своей депресии.
