NEC сделает HD-телевизоры еще тоньше

На каждой новой выставке производители HD телевизоров представляют все более тонкие модели. Однако не все могли догадываться, что новые электрические схемы могут помочь сделать корпусы телевизоров еще более тонкими.

Компания NEC Electronics представила схему соединения нового поколения для LCD телевизоров большого размера. Эти схемы позволят еще больше снизить толщину и без того тонких ТВ.

В частности, данная схема позволяет передавать сигналы от панели обработки изображения на чипы, закрепленные на периферии LCD панели. В настоящее время 37-дюймовой телевизионной LCD панели класса Full HD требуется 21 такая схема. Благодаря технологии NEC, это число сокращается до 8.

По словам компании, технология начнет активно применяться в следующем году.
