Sony разаработала новые CMOS сенсоры

Компания Sony Corporation объявила об успешной разработке нового типа CMOS сенсоров, освещаемых со стороны подложки (back-illuminated image sensor), обладающих, по словам представителей компании, высоким качеством передачи изображения, меньшим уровнем шумов и примерно удвоенной по сравнению с традиционными сенсорами чувствительностью.

Новые сенсоры, производство которых стартует в ближайшее время, имеют размер пикселя 1,75 х 1,75 мкм, 5 Мп разрешение и способны производить съёмку со скоростью до 60 кадров в секунду. Повышение чувствительности и качества изображения, а также снижение шумов было достигнуто именно благодаря использованию технологии подсветки со стороны кремниевой подложки. Hовый CMOS сенсор демонстрирует соотношение сигнал/шум на уровне +8 дБ (+6dB чувствительность, -2 дБ шум) в сравнении с нынешним поколением традиционных CMOS сенсоров Sony со сравнимым размером пикселя.

Предполагается, что новые CMOS сенсоры Sony с подсветкой со стороны подложки найдут широкое применение в бытовой электронике – цифровых фото и видеокамерах следующего поколения.
