Новые цифровые проекторы в кинотеатрах IMAX

Texas Instruments договорилась о поставках своих проекторов компаниям, занимающимся строительством кинотеатров формата IMAX по всему миру.
Согласно договору каждый цифровой кинотеатр IMAX , построенный в середине 2008 года, будет оснащаться DLP-проектором производства TI.
Точного списка городов пока нет, так же как и нет каких-либо иных деталей проектов.

Новые цифровые проекторы в кинотеатрах IMAX

Хорошая весть заключается в следующем: среди прочих, есть и Российские города. В период 2009-2011 годы кинотеатры будут построены в трёх городах – Сочи, Нижнем Новгороде и Новосибирске. Проекты подписаны с компаниями Luxor Cinema, Электроника и компанией Art Science Cinema Distribution соответственно.

Новые IMAX добавятся к уже существующим кинотеатрам в Москве, Санкт-Петербурге и Казани. К 2011 году планируется довести общее количество кинотеатров формата IMAX до 10.
