Все ведущие производители уделяют огромное внимание OLED разработкам, но почти не представляют новых реально продаваемых моделей из-за низкого спроса, обусловленного высокой стоимостью при наличии пока еще определенных недостатков OLED HDTV. По неподтвержденным сообщениям стоимость 31 дюймовой модели составит около $9000. По предположениям аналитиков компании LG, реально конкурировать с LCD и плазменными моделями OLED HDTV смогут не ранее 2013 года.
