Фил Молинье отметил, что в настоящее время компания имеет значительную долю в общем объеме продаж 3D телевизоров и планирует продолжить развитие технологии с активными LCD очками, в отличие от некоторых конкурентов, использующих пассивную технологию.<br /><br />Более дешевая технология с пассивными очками используется и в 3D кинотеатрах, она отличается отсутствием мерцания, но имеет пониженное вдвое разрешение. Sony также имеет разработки автостерескопического не требующего очков телевизора, но в ближайшее веря коммерциализировать их не собирается. Важным для компании продуктом Молинье считает 3D видеокамеру Handycam HDR-TD10, способную записывать видео высокого разрешения.<br /><br />Sony планирует также развитие интернет ТВ в рамках проекта Google TV. Молинье отметил, что Sony имеет хорошие результаты продаж подобных моделей HDTV и собирается их усовершенствовать. <br />
