Представленная в начале года новая 3D технология пока так и не дошла до массового покупателя, несмотря на все рекламные усилия производителей. <br /><br />По результат опроса, проведенного известной исследовательской компанией Nielsen, только 10% из 27 000 опрошенных респондентов хотели бы в следующем году купить 3D телевизор. Только 15% собираются приобрести его в последующее время, а 60% он вообще не нужен.<br /><br />Опрос проводился на всех континентах. И в самом платежеспособном регионе – Северной Америке только 3% собираются покупать 3D HDTV  в следующем году, а 2% уже купили.<br /><br />Судя по результатам опроса, наиболее восторженно воспринимают 3D технологию в Латинской Америке, Африке и на ближнем Востоке. Европа в этом отношении является явным аутсайдером.<br /><br />В связи с результатами аналогичных опросов некоторые обозреватели предполагают грядущее снижение платы за доступ в мир 3D, другие считают данный этап развития технологии объемного видеовоспроизведения не более чем экспериментом.
