Собственно владельцам интернет телевизоров Sony не придется даже заботиться о смене прошивки. Изменяется лишь сетевое программное обеспечение, которое получает новую функцию Dual View. Это функция по сути является аналогом используемой в обычных HDTV технологии «картинка в картинке» и позволяет просматривать сайты с одновременным отображением в другом окне фильма из интернет или с внешнего диска.  <br /><br />Владельцы смартфонов на базе операционной системы Android после загрузки  специальной утилиты смогут использовать их в качестве пульта управления Google TV. А также управлять переключением каналов с помощью голосовых команд. В данный момент интернет сервис Google TV доступен пока только для жителей США и Канады. <br />
