На проходящей в Китае конференции «Новое комфортное для глаз 3D» был представлен 84&#8243; 3D LCD телевизор с разрешением Full HD. Дисплей этого HDTV выполнен по новой технологии Film-Type Patterned Retarter (FPR). Новая LCD технология является развитием первого поколения поляризационных панелей и, как утверждает LG, не страдает от мерцания и перекрестные помех в 3D режиме. <br /><br />Поскольку при производстве FRP панелей в качестве подложки будет использоваться пленка вместо стекла, они будут дешевле в производстве. Ну, и не стоит забывать о дешевизне поляризационных очков, к тому же они, в сравнении с LCD очками, не требуют питания и представляют более яркую картинку.
